Job Description
What is the job about?
The Senior Financial Controller contributes to the Finance organization with a high degree of financial/accounting/system insight. The Senior Finance Controller role requires broad subject matter expert knowledge in finance and accounting with a high degree of technical/business insight. Develop initiatives/activities with an impact across units and/or at area/regional level.
Your main responsibilities:
· Timely and accurate maintenance of local and group books of two entities.
· To be the point of contact for financial matters in the local entities.
· Preparation and Submission of CIT, SFS and other necessary reports to Tax Office.
Since this role will be responsible for the two Hungarian entities, having knowledge in Hungarian Tax Regulations is an asset.
· To ensure that the entities are compliant with all local regulations.
· Participation in internal and external audits conducted , ensure all tasks are performed in line with Grundfos Internal Audit handbook
· To review and reconcile balance sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness
· Perform month end close, ensure the correctness of accounts and financial reports
· Manage the dividends calculation, Annual General Meeting planning and all other company secretarial tasks in relation with the legal advisors.
· Verification, analysis and explanation of group reporting (P&L, BS), interaction with GFSS
· Interaction with GFSS on matters related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets for the entities.
· Participation in FEX projects and in other improvement initiatives
Your background
We imagine that you have:
· Bachelor degree (finance sphere)
· Minimum 6-7 years of experience
· Good level of English
· Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and SAP preferably
· Knowledge of Hungarian Tax Regulation
· Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
· Effective oral and written communications
· Hands-on doer with focus on the details
· Ability to multi-task, ability to work under pressure
· Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
· Ability to be a team player. Teamwork, excellent business acumen and independent judgment is required
· Ability to accept rejection and constructive criticism with professionalism and open mindless, flexibility
· Professional dress at all corporate functions
· Self-motivated
· Have good listening skills and ability to value other opinion
