Purpose of Role

Under Armour’s vision is to be the #1 Performance Athletic Brand in the world. To help achieve this goal, we are building a progressive Financial Planning & Analysis team whose focus is developing core competencies in the areas of FP&A, Decision Support, and Strategy Execution. The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate will be a key member of our team by supporting our Corporate Functions which is a key component of our corporate strategic plan. This position will work closely with teammates at all levels, including Executive Leadership.

Your Impact Develop & maintain planning/forecasting process on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for corporate function business units, including partnership with Regional FP&A partners to monitor Global functional spend Partner with cross functional business leads on forecast expectations and develop strategies Execute financial rhythm of month-end close and prepare journal entries to support the close process Analyze drivers of month-end variances vs. budgets and drive accountability around cost saving initiatives.  Leverage financial systems to create and distribute timely reporting of performance against forecast Work with business unit leaders and their teams to provide ad hoc support relative to key initiatives Build and maintain strong partnerships with the leaders and teams of the business units supported Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience OR typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree Basic accounting knowledge Relevant experience with SAP Strong team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others outside of their direct-reporting lines Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skill.
  Workplace Location Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, MD office. Return to Work Designation: Three (3) days per week in-office, the remainder of work week remote Relocation No relocation provided Base Compensation

 $81,445.00 - $111,987.70 USD

 

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
