The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing, reconciling, valuation and reporting daily and monthly profit and loss data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the overall success of our finance team by taking part in automation and process improvement projects. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How You’ll Succeed** + **Relationship management** – act in a collaborative manner with team members and stakeholders from different backgrounds and experiences. You will liaise daily with Finance, Front Office and other Capital Markets stakeholder groups. + **Corroboration** – provide supporting activities to your team lead, Front Office, Risk Management and Finance, which includes decomposition of P&L by risk factors to ensure business partners, understand the underlying drivers of P&L. Review and consolidate daily commentary and analyses for stakeholders + **Business focus** – accountable to ensure that the control framework for their Line of Business is operating efficiently. Along with your team lead, you will act as the main point of contact for peer and stakeholders in Capital Markets CFO Group, Front Office, Global Operations, Finance, Risk Management, etc. to ensure resolution of all related issues. **Who You Are** + **You understand that success is in the details.** You notice things that others don't.
