The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing, reconciling, valuation and reporting daily and monthly profit and loss data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the overall success of our finance team by taking part in automation and process improvement projects. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You will liaise daily with Finance, Front Office and other Capital Markets stakeholder groups. + **Corroboration** – provide supporting activities to your team lead, Front Office, Risk Management and Finance, which includes decomposition of P&L by risk factors to ensure business partners, understand the underlying drivers of P&L. Review and consolidate daily commentary and analyses for stakeholders + **Business focus** – accountable to ensure that the control framework for their Line of Business is operating efficiently.
