**Job Title: Sr. Financial Analyst – Consolidations and Financial Reporting**
**A little bit about our team:**
_The Corporate Finance Department at Warner Music Group is responsible for overseeing all of the financial operations of the Company in partnership with the finance groups at the labels and individual companies within Warner Music Group. The department provides financial reporting, accounting, planning, budgeting, and financial compliance for the Company. The department is filled with fun, outgoing and overall successful individuals who work hard all while enjoying the perks of working in the Music Industry._
**Your role:**
_Warner Music Group is excited to offer this opportunity in the Corporate Finance Department. This position utilizes hands-on accounting experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles and Warner Music Group’s policies/procedures to facilitate the day-to-day consolidations and financial reporting processes. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting._
**Here you’ll get to:**
+ _Interact with and provide support to the global finance team during the monthly close process for actual, forecast, and budget results_
+ _Ensure all reporting entities have submitted monthly actual and forecast HFM data and provide daily performance and status reports to the Corporate Finance team in addition to facilitating status meetings during the quarterly close_
+ _Responsible for consolidating financial results (actuals, forecast and budget) within HFM_
+ _Develop an understanding of the general ledger account structure, affiliate hierarchy, and company operations_
+ _Coordinate with Consolidations and Treasury team on monthly (actual and forecast) FX rates to be uploaded into HFM_
+ _Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliation and coordinate with shared services accounting team and global affiliate finance teams on intercompany variances identified_
+ _Prepare and post corporate topside and elimination entries (e.g. segment eliminations, investment, and equity eliminations)_
+ _Review and analyze monthly and quarterly actual results to understand unusual variances_
+ _Prepare quarterly reporting templates provided to the labels/affiliates globally and act as key point of contact for submissions and any subsequent follow-up_
+ _Prepare quarterly reporting deliverables based on label/affiliate submissions which analyzes quarterly variances of certain key account balances based on their size and risk portfolio_
+ _Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the global affiliate finance teams, shared services accounting team, and other key financial team members_
+ _Prepare guarantor financial statements on a quarterly basis_
+ _Assist with the preparation of the quarterly Corporate Finance Newsletter that gets distributed to the global finance team_
+ _Act as control operator for key SOX controls corresponding with the above mentioned responsibilities and task performed_
+ _Support implementation for our Global Finance Transformation (FIT) project partnering with the transformation team and affiliate finance teams to ensure process and control changes are properly implemented upon launch_
+ _Prepare ad hoc reports, special projects, and analyses for senior management, as requested_
**About you:**
+ _Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance_
+ _Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in accounting_
+ _Big Four public accounting or large multi-national experience preferred_
+ _CPA or CPA candidate a plus_
+ _Strong computer skills with knowledge of financial systems and software_
+ _Intermediate level knowledge of GAAP/SEC accounting and reporting_
+ _Proficient with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)_
+ _Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management is a plus_

Salary Range
$85,000 to $90,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
