Sr. Financial Analyst
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic financial planning, performance analysis, and decision-making processes. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across departments and drive impactful financial initiatives. Responsibilities: • Develop, refine, and manage comprehensive financial models to assist with forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning. • Monitor and analyze actual performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying trends and explaining variances. • Evaluate cost structures, labor and material expenditures, and revenue streams by customer or program. • Generate and present monthly financial reports and key performance indicators to executive leadership. • Partner with operational teams to assess efficiency metrics and margin performance across projects. • Conduct pricing, profitability, and cost-benefit analyses to support new business opportunities. • Perform inventory assessments and oversee capital expenditure tracking. • Work closely with the accounting team during month-end close to ensure accurate revenue recognition, job costing, and accruals. • Provide ad hoc financial analyses to aid strategic decision-making across various levels of the organization. Requirements • Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling, with a strong background in forecasting and budgeting. • Demonstrated ability to work with tools such as Crystal Reports and other financial analytics software. • Experience in conducting complex financial analysis and presenting actionable insights. • Skilled in preparing detailed financial reports and performance metrics for leadership. • Ability to analyze cost structures, profitability, and operational efficiency. • Expertise in supporting pricing strategies and evaluating cost-benefit scenarios. • Knowledge of accounting principles related to month-end close processes, accruals, and revenue recognition. • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively across departments and with executives.
