Sr. Financial Analyst

Your Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions of our company. You will be responsible for assisting with budgeting & forecasting, internal financial reporting, analyzing financial performance, and financial modeling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with 2+ years of relevant experience, and a passion for leveraging financial data to drive business decisions.

 

Your Responsibilities

Support the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budget/forecast and explain significant variances. Prepare month-end and year-end financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of presentations for executive leadership, board meetings, and investor updates. Assist accounting team in month-end close as needed. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and decision-making processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for various financial and operational projects. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support business objectives and improve financial performance. Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed. Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a software or technology company. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced MS Office skills; emphasis on Excel and Power Point. Experience with Sage/Intacct accounting system, Salesforce, or Tableau a plus. Ability to work both independently and as part of a remote team. Comfortable working with all levels of the organization including the Sr. Leadership team.

 

*Must be able to travel 3-4 times a year for onsite company meetings*
