The Sr. Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the creation of analysis and reports utilized to drive business decisions inside and outside the supply chain in a healthcare environment. This position will harvest data from multiple systems to drive business cases, measure initiatives and find opportunities for efficiencies/savings. The Sr. Data and Reporting Analyst will ensure the integrity of reporting utilized for specific initiatives, so all findings and assumptions are sound. This position will also elicit/interpret business requirements from internal stakeholders to meet reporting needs.

Possess knowledge of principles and best practices for analytics and reporting management in a large matrix organization. Ability to organize facts and present information and figures clearly, concisely and logically, orally and in writing to various constituencies. Strong analytical skills and ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on business need. Support the life cycle management of the data analytics functions, including data quality reconciliation and report generation for Supply Chain-related systems. Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to gather, analyze, interpret, and visualize data to inform Supply Chain Services strategies, policy formulation, and decision-making processes. Partner with Data Engineers to identify technical requirements for implementing the database schema and business logic. Produce SQL and business intelligence reports by querying data repositories. Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings via various visualization tools e.g. Tableau. Apply associated theories, methods, principles, and practices to reporting requests. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Analyze information and develop logic to address technical and logistical issues and problems. Perform associated duties that are mostly intellectual and varied, requiring creative, analytical, evaluative, interpretive, and/or critical thinking. Apply analytical and creative approaches to solve issues related to systems and reporting. Test report functions to ensure data is accurate as per the business requirements and if there are any changes in underlying data. Stay current on industry news and trends. Exercise discretion and independent judgment, requiring only general supervision.SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sr. Data and Reporting Analyst assists Supply Chain Services leaders with tracking financial performance for the Supply Chain Services organization and other departmental initiatives/programs as directed. Use of various system applications (e.g. ERP, data warehouse, vendor specific applications, Tableau, etc.) for tracking, analyzing, and developing management reports. Design, develop and maintain reports, scorecards, and dashboards for the broader Supply Chain Services organization. Responsible for running reports in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. Develop a deep understanding of the business you support, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and deliver overall value.
Work with complex datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, and behaviors. Work with business leaders across the system to understand business questions to provide data-driven insights.
Analyzes business needs and ensures that functional and technical requirements are documented. Performs necessary investigations, analyses, and evaluations to determine feasibility. Prepares routine department status reports. Ensure adherence to protocols, procedures, and project plans. Ensure each project deliverable has clear completion criteria and acceptance plan. Maintains all relevant documentation and communications. Provides direction and support to the department ensuring the team is informed of all changes, decisions, etc. that may affect the success of the department. Excellent planning and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Proficiency with Excel, Word and standard computer programs required.
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
BS/BA Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's preferred. Minimum of three (3) years in an advanced Data Analytics position.
Minimum of five (3) years’ management experience preferably in healthcare environment/operations
KNOWLEDGEABLE IN:
Must have experience with using visualization tools including Tableau, R Shiny, Power BI, and Python. Must have experience creating complex, high performance data queries, views and indexes used to populate report contents. Must have experience testing report functions to ensure data is accurate as per the business requirements.
