Job SummaryThe Sr. Financial Analyst plays a key role in partnership between the Finance team and department leaders. This role will support the Product/Brand/Strategy (PBS) and Licensing teams. The person in this role will support business financial objectives while drawing on best practices to identify & recommend solutions to complex problems. The position requires the ability to multitask and prioritize workload independently.
Using depth and breadth of experience, this role is expected to appropriately challenge business partners on critical decisions to ensure all options are considered and the best path is chosen. This role will help the business address problems and arrive at new solutions, while also functioning as the main Finance partner ensuring financial compliance & risk management while enabling profitable growth and operational excellence.

Representative Responsibilities
+ Partnering with PBS and Licensing leaders to identify and evaluate current year projects, programs, and initiatives for financial opportunities. In addition, partnering with the other Finance Liaisons and Managers to understand how the broader business may impact these areas to evaluate and guide on where efforts should be focused.
+ Consolidate, review, and analyze Product/Brand/Strategy and Licensing financial results against budget and forecasts on a monthly basis. For PBS and Licensing, this includes department specific operational objectives such as measuring Marketing return on investment, collaborating with licensees, helping the business prioritize investments and tracking forecast accuracy. Synthesize results, highlight themes, identify risks and opportunities, and assist with the preparation of monthly executive-level reporting and presentations.
+ Partner with cost center managers to review and discuss historical cost center results, trends and forecasting. This includes the ongoing education of department leaders and managers on financial issues, reviewing and making recommendations on the department budget proposals. Assist with preparation and review of area annual plans, forecasts, and multi-year financial modeling.
+ Coordinate and develop return-on-investment analyses for large marketing investments and programs. Measure program success by defining critical KPIs and identifying creative ways to track, measure, and report against key indicators.
+ Post journal entries and accruals on a monthly basis; extract data from financial systems, and refresh consolidated reports.
+ Review and advise on vendor contracts and agreements, in partnership with other departments including legal, finance, and accounting; help determine appropriate GAAP treatment for various types of expenses.
+ Provide accuracy and thoroughness of deliverables and recommendations based on comprehensive analysis.
Required Education
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or related field
Required Skills & Experience
+ 5 or more years of successful experience in quantitative role (i.e. Finance, Accounting)
+ 3 or more years of successful experience leading and managing multiple projects
+ Ability to support business planning efforts of the business leaders through proactive strategic thinking
+ High level of proficiency in Excel
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
+ Problem solving skills evidenced by demonstrated results in past positions
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to manage several tasks concurrently
+ Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and positively influence
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
+ Travel (5%)
+ Willing to work some weekends, if necessary
+ This position has a Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed for work activities.
