How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

At Airgas, the nation’s leading single-source supplier of gases, welding equipment, and safety products, we’re looking for a Financial & Business Analyst to support our South Region. In this role, you’ll provide financial insights and recommendations that guide strategic and operational decisions. Acting as the key Sr. Financial Analyst for the Region, you’ll play a critical advisory role, partnering with VP of Finance and Regional leaders to ensure data-driven success.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Regional leaders and other stakeholders to understand their financial needs.

Provide advanced Excel-based financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

Analyze and report on key metrics such as gross margin, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.

Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership to support decision-making.

Partner with operational teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment.

Act as a resource for data warehouse reporting tools and contribute as a Super User for SAP and Business Warehouse (BW).

Support the commission planning process, calculation and analysis for the region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payment.

________________________Are you a MATCH?

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field (MBA highly preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in financial analysis or reporting with progressively increasing responsibility.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced Excel expertise (financial modeling, data visualization, macros).

- Experience with tools like SQL, VBA, Power Query, or Power BI is a plus.

- Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts such as NPV, IRR, ROCE, & JEs

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively advise leadership.

- Proven ability to work independently while seeking input and support when necessary.

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
