Position:Sr. Financial Analyst

Position Summary:Works closely with the department and cross-functional teams to support Finance needs. Uses a combination of tools, techniques, and technologies to generate, review, report, and interpret complex data used across the organization. Provides support and mentorship to junior team members. Identifies and helps implement process improvements.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

Creates, reviews, and distributes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Provides data critical and meaningful recommendations to operational strategy.Reviews, interprets, and communicates complex market, financial and business trends, and provides recommendations to support positive performance. Identifies potential risks & opportunities and suggests solutions.Assists in preparations for budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting purposes.Prepares reconciliations which may include issuing payments and tracking accounts receivable.Completes complex financial modeling, market research, and cost accounting.Guides and/or completes various month end tasks and ad hoc reporting requests, including journal entries.Coordinates with other members of the team as required to review financial information and forecasts.Supports business initiatives through data review, identification of implementation barriers, and user acceptance testing of various systems.Supports audits as needed.Diagnoses problems, identifies opportunities for process redesign and improvement, and creates solutions.Trains, supports, and mentors junior team members.

Qualifications

B.S Degree in related field (Finance or Accounting) or equivalent5+ years of relevant Finance experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the roleRequired to pass a credit checkProficiency in Excel and MS Office SuiteProficiency in SQL Server Reporting ServicesStrong analytical and organization skillsProven ability to effectively guide multiple tasks with shifting prioritiesSolid communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills  Ability to train, support, and mentor junior team membersDetail oriented

Preferred

2 plus years of experience in healthcare fieldExperience in Adaptive Planning and/or NetSuite

$84,600.00-$113,775.00
