JOB OVERVIEW

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Americas will support the monthly revenue planning process that includes margin analysis and reporting to maximize company profitability. The Sr. Financial Analyst, Americas collaborates with the revenue planning team, along with several other areas to ensure alignment across the business. In addition, this role provides insights, guidance and recommendations throughout the business cycle. They will monitor results monthly and continually look for ways to improve the forecasting process and accuracy.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the monthly revenue planning forecast and annual budget process. Including providing updates to the team about business decisions impacting the plan, providing feedback and guidance on account-level plans confirming forecast inputs are accurate and complete.Generate comprehensive reporting and analysis related to margins, delivering key insights that support strategic decision-making and overall financial performance.Conduct regular review of margins to maximize company profitability.Collaborate and align with key stakeholders such as Sales Management, Finance, Sales Initiatives, Category Planners, product Management and Supply/Demand planning to inform and be informed about all items impacting the monthly revenue plans.Prepare financial forecasts to capture expected program related accruals for monthly forecast submission.Consolidate and evaluate differences of the bottoms up revenue forecast at the channel, customer, and product model level that is used to develop the Net Sales plan.Identify and communicate key trends, risks, and opportunities based on financial data and business objectives.Perform analytical support throughout the business cycle that enhances the organization’s ability to make appropriate business decisions.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysisAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentagesProficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills requiredAbility to use Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Word and PowerPoint to perform analytical work in a presentable formatAbility to triangulate across sources of information to get a complete picture and be able to detect high-level inconsistenciesAbility to build strong working relationships and collaborate with other in cross-functional teamsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information into easily understood insightsDetail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrityDemonstrated experience in process improvement and change managementIntermediate understanding of accounting principles

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of finance or revenue planning experience with an emphasis on analysis, forecasting and reporting.Experience working within the golf industry a plus
