Responsibilities The Sr. Financial Analyst - Customer Accounting plays a pivotal role in delivering accurate trade spend reporting and accounting across all business portfolios. This position requires a proactive, accountable professional with a strong sense of ownership and exceptional analytical and financial expertise. The ideal candidate effectively navigates complexity, prioritizes tasks efficiently, and simplifies processes while setting a clear agenda for direct reports. A focus on coaching and developing team members to maximize potential is essential. This role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. By excelling in these areas, the Sr. Financial Analyst will contribute significantly to the organization’s financial success and operational excellence. Day In The Life: Drive timely and accurate reporting of Trade Spend expense and accruals to the organization through period end process and review. Lead the development of direct reports through effective execution of manager quality actions: regular 1W1, Mid-Year reviews, people planning, leadership and coaching. Identify risks and opportunities to the P&L based on balance sheet reviews, year-end accrual reconciliations and daily/weekly reporting. Collaborate and build strong relationships with finance teams and cross-functional leaders to understand customer deductions and the impact on trade spend and overall P&L Ensure annual trade spend processes are executed in a timely manner and external partner billbacks are completed timely and accurately. Ensure customer teams are engaged regularly to understand customer spending, maintain strong control processes and complete customer reconciliations Identify and drive efficiencies to streamline and simplify trade spend processes. Support all aspects of GCS including adherence to PepsiCo’s policies, values, and code of conduct. Develop team member’s capability to ensure progression in career and execution of simplification objectives. Qualifications Must hold a CPA designation with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a related industry or a Big 4 accounting firm. Proven leadership and people management expertise, with a track record of guiding teams to achieve high performance. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to make informed, strategic decisions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with SAP is considered a strong asset. Excellent collaborative and team-building skills, with a history of successfully working alongside senior leaders to drive organizational goals. Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. #Li-Hybrid
