Sr. Financial Analyst - Revenue Consolidations/Analytics

As **Senior Financial Analyst – Revenue Consolidations and Analytics,** you will support business leaders utilizing your expertise in the development of complex reports and analyses. You will leverage your strong analytics and data querying skills to provide strategic insights that lead to the achievement of financial and business goals. Additionally, you will provide guidance and training to less experienced Financial Analysts. In this role, you will focus on several key aspects of the Revenue FP&A function, supporting all of ADP revenue, including governance & maintenance needed to build on the common analytical framework of revenue. These responsibilities include assessing current sources of revenue structure, reviewing calculations, and proposing governance rules for consistent and common revenue drivers across BUs. You will also be part of a traditional Consolidations team, supporting reporting of month-end, quarterly, and year-end analyses in addition to determining risks and opportunity assessments. The day-to-day of this role will depend on which part of the financial life cycle we are in. While the day-to-day may shift, common to all these activities is one thing: becoming the subject matter expert for ADP Revenue. **What you’ll do:** **Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:** **Revenue Analytics** **:** You will lead the effort to gather client-level data and summarize analytics to inform and recommend proper sources of revenue growth at a consolidated level. + Query large data sets using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Power BI, taking client-level data and being able to analyze/summarize, providing and producing recommendations of sources of revenue growth + Standardize calculations and definitions across common revenue drivers and continue to maintain sources of revenue hierarchy for revenue reporting + Expand & streamline current governance of uploads for actuals, plan, forecast & operating plan cycles + Partner closely with Data Governance to leverage Data Layer analytics and minimize dueling data sets and create a “one source of truth” for key revenue metrics + Become a subject matter expert for all of ADP revenue and be able to provide support to Senior Management on submissions, areas of opportunities, risks and growth potential **Management Reporting and Financial Consolidations Close Activities** **:** You will produce and distribute recurring and ad hoc management reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for financial reporting accuracy, partner with shared services organizations, and ensure an adequate control environment to mitigate financial and business risks in collaboration with process owners. + Assist in driving the financial close activity and prepare monthly variance analysis on actual results versus plan/forecast, ensuring data integrity + Participate in presentation preparation on results, forecasts, and plans for senior management + Make recommendations on opportunities/risks to senior management that need to be addressed to improve results + Produce management reporting efficiently utilizing automation and technology **Operating Planning and Forecasting** **:** You will help in the creation of the annual operating plan aligned to the strategic plan and perform forecasting to provide visibility into business results to enable business decisions + Assist in the creation of revenue financial models to assist in the annual operating plan, reviewing and validating assumptions, ensuring proper reconciliation and data integrity + Support & build forecast models using key drivers, trend analysis, economic, and external factors, etc., and monitor the accuracy and predictability of existing models + Continuously improve forecast accuracy by aligning to key drivers and identifying root causes of previous errors + Create analytical tools and models for revenue-driving process efficiencies **Strategic Planning** : Partner with BU FP&A leadership to develop strategies around accurate revenue planning with a key focus on accelerating revenue growth. + Support the execution of key components of the strategic plan by managing and providing analytical support + Maintain an awareness of general economic, competitive, business, and financial conditions **Business Partnering** **:** Partner with key stakeholders and business partners to align on business priorities and drive effective solutions/execution.
