Responsibilities

 

Develop device drivers and application firmware for products using 32 bit microcontrollersMaintain and support existing embedded softwareInterfaces with other members of the development team, validation test and field application engineersDevelopment and maintenance of firmware design documentation.Develop Unit and Acceptance Tests, and document test procedures

 

Qualifications

Must Haves

BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 10+ years of embedded firmware development experienceKnowledge about microcontrollers and internals is required and able to comprehend hardware specs and schematicsExperience with Super loop and RTOS architecturesProficiency in C/C++/PythonFamiliarity with using digital scopes and logic analyzersExcellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong Pluses

MS in Computer Science preferredExperience with eLinux architectureExperience with Cellular, BLE, and WiFi protocolsExperience with Test Automation using scripting languagesExperience with POSIX programmingFamiliarity with communication protocols such as UDP and TCP, TLS, and HTTP
