**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced financial professional to join the G&A Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager – Operations, this Financial Analyst role will be responsible for providing support to the Shockwave G&A and IT Organizations. We seek a motivated and results-driven analyst to provide best-in-class business partner support and help create transparency around key spending, milestones, and KPIs while enabling smooth integration into J&J systems and processes.
**Essential Job Functions**
+ Lead the process for accomplishing rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range forecasts for the G&A and IT Operations.
+ Provide support to senior business leaders with actuals, analyze variance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to drive forecast execution, accuracy, and actionable recommendations to senior management.
+ Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
+ Effectively collaborate cross-functionally to plan and execute initiatives
+ Perform monthly and quarterly close responsibilities, including preparation of accruals, variance analysis, reporting, and audit support
**Qualifications - External**
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
+ Minimum 3-5 years of accounting, finance, or related business experience is required.
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
+ Proven ability to work independently while appropriately planning, prioritizing, and communicating progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
+ Familiarity with planning software such as Adaptive or Anaplan
+ Understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements
+ Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal customers
+ Team player with strong work ethic
**Pay Transparency:**
+ The anticipated salary range for this position is $89,000 - $142,600
+ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
+ Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
