Sr. GTM Specialist, International Expansion

International Expansion (IX) GTM Specialists exist to accelerate revenue for our locales, by driving operational excellence, insights-based prioritization, and working backwards to solve our customer needs. We work closely with locale General Managers and their Sales leadership to support sales motions, and focus on their largest initiatives to unlock growth. Our environment is very fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly entrepreneurial, flexible, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams across multiple locales. As the subject matter expert on Amazon Advertising you’ll play a key role in scaling Sales teams’ knowledge, and driving the skills required to sell our product set. You will be charged with ensuring go-to-market readiness for new product/feature launches, while capturing local Sales and Account team feedback to iterate on future International Expansion strategic priorities. You will collaborate closely with other cross-functional IX GTM teams on their capability and training roadmaps. We expect the successful candidate to be located in BR. Key job responsibilities - Analyze inputs-based sales trends, and build bespoke action plans to scale or course correct sales behaviors - Support new locale Sales team members by being the subject matter expert on Amazon Advertising – including products/features, Sales strategy, and go-to-market narratives - Hire and develop the best: Support hiring or development of new locale Sales team members across Account Executives, Account Managers, Creative Campaign Managers, Programmatic and/or Ad Tech, by providing regular coaching and feedback mechanisms (e.g. stand and delivers, pitch bar-raiser, etc.) - Identify mechanisms and guardrails to ensure locales exceed sales KPIs post-launch - Develop net new product and service models that impact the core value proposition of the International Expansion Ads business. Eliminate friction across the organization to accelerate time to market across multiple programs. - Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience - 5+ years of professional or military experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations - Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements - 9+ years’ experience in digital media sales, product management, or business development - Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), including the ability to present complex topics both in person and over the phone - A proven track record of leading and driving multiple complex business development opportunities and programs to meet business objectives and a demonstrated ability to translate strategic initiatives into detailed operation plans. - Understanding of technical integration of ideas, and the ability to build relationships with marketing managers, sales stakeholders, dev managers, SDEs and designers. - Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously while defining and delivering priorities amidst ambiguity Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
