Job Posting TitleSr. Health Plan Account Manager - RemoteJob DescriptionThe Sr Health Plan Account Manager serves as a line of business specialist for their assigned account/s and provides information, analyses, and consulting to the assigned health plan and Prime client engagement leadership teams across all lines of business. This position interacts directly with Prime’s clients, account leaders and internal partners to fulfill client commitments, lead client communications, coordinate product presentations and adoption, and champion cross-functional efforts necessary to retain existing clients and strengthen Prime’s competitive position in the market.
Responsibilities
Serve as a line of business specialist responsible for managing client relationships within assigned health plan/s; effectively support contract renewal activities, retention, and the implementation of assigned client strategic plans through: intake and coordination of client issues, ensuring an intimate understanding of client’s challenges, priorities and adopted products and services, and helping Prime identify and implement changes that result in mutual value in the relationshipIdentify, establish and maintain relationships with key partners in the client organization and strive to deliver a superior, retention focused customer experience; support the positioning of Prime as a strategic advisor and trusted partner by demonstrating leadership, accountability, knowledge and enthusiasm in all interactionsIdentify, establish and maintain key internal relationships needed to increase business acumen and awareness, appropriately position Prime products, track and communicate the resolution of client issues, and support the delivery of client priorities and requests; partner with account leadership to socialize and advocate for client strategic plansLead client meetings with the ability to directly address and resolve client issues; coordinate and at times, facilitate client meeting activities as aligned to the account management principles, including but not limited to: solidifying meeting objectives and participants, developing agendas, preparing, collecting and disseminating and uploading meeting materials in client portal, routinely updating CRM tool (Salesforce) and conducting any necessary follow up with stakeholders or clientsPartner with clients and internal teams to understand the purpose and intent of incoming requests and evaluate what relevant information exists, how it can be accessed, and determine the most appropriate ways to present the information to the requestor; conduct independent review and analysis to ensure the information is understood and can be leveraged to influence decision making with the client, or Prime leadershipEnsure coordination with Account Management Office to build and socialize business cases for client initiatives, including the identification and confirmation of scope, budget, timelines and risksCollect details on client engagement interactions with assigned client/s and input into the Salesforce CRM tool, including but not limited to meeting agendas and notes, identified dependencies or risks, key decision points and outcomes, and any next steps, agreed actions and responsibly parties; ensure the appropriate data is captured within Salesforce in order for the tool to be leveraged as a source of truth for the overall client relationship (client interactions, products pitched and deployed, decision records, etc)Participate in up-sell opportunities for new products and services, and provide feedback to product development and implementation teams regarding client and segment specific requirementsProvide support for any identified strategic group renewal and implementation, in partnership with Blue and Prime’s employer markets sales and retention teams; ensure effective representation and execution for employer market strategies and go to market pull through on assigned client accountsOther duties as assignedEducation & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required5 years of client service experience in healthcare or insurance, to include 1 year of experience within claims analysis or other operational PBM functions and 3 or more years direct client facing experienceMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications
