Drives alignment of people, HR processes and policies to support business OGSMs and initiatives. Works closely with client group leadership and with the support of the COEs to develop and implement HR solutions to ensure alignment to business strategy and successful business results. Coaches and advises employees, supervisors and leaders on how to manage employee issues. Provides guidance and advises leaders on change management, including planning, execution, and communication strategies to ensure smooth transitions. Facilitates talent management, organizational design, and strategic workforce planning. Facilitates Succession Planning processes; ensures integration into development, performance management, and workforce planning. Aligns talent strategies by identifying short- and long-term needs. Works with the business to evaluate, review and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing. Partners with business leaders to develop and implement strategies and action plans that foster a positive work environment, enhance employee engagement, and align with Gallo's core values and cultural objectives. Serves as the main facilitator during any meetings of their client group(s) leadership team. Partners with the HR COEs in the application of existing human resources policies and objectives. Supports Core Processes to include coaching managers on performance assessments, facilitating calibration sessions, working with the business to ensure performance ratings are calibrated, PIP bonus attainment is properly documented, and any promotions or equities are planned and supported. Partners with Corporate Communications COE on communications/announcements regarding employee changes. Works with the Compensation COE to ensure proper understanding and implementation of Gallo’s Compensation programs, including base pay and incentive programs.

 

What You'll Need

Master’s degree plus 3 years of human resources business partner or generalist experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of human resources business partner or generalist experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of Gallo human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of human resources business partner or generalist experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships. Sales client group: Required to travel up to 40% of the time via mostly airplane in order to conduct job duties.  Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description. Required to be 18 years or older.
