Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP), Corporate Functions

Location: Irving, TX

Job Summary: 

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will report to the VP HR, Corporate Functions and support the VP and senior-level HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in executing HR strategies, initiatives, and programs. This role requires a thorough understanding of HR best practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. The Sr. HRBP will play a crucial role in driving processes and projects with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and providing comprehensive HR support to People Leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Support VP and HRBPs:

Collaborate with the VP and HRBPs to execute HR strategies, initiatives, and programs.

Track the results and impact of delivery for the Team's annual goals; report out quarterly on results.

Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes.

Prepare presentations and other materials as required.

Prepare Quarterly Talent & People Updates; pull accurate data; prepare materials for HRBP review with EOT.

Own the branding and online content representing the CorpFX HR Team (i.e., HR-Hub).

Interact and Drive Processes with Centers of Excellence (CoEs):

Collaborate with CoEs such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations to ensure alignment and successful implementation of HR programs.

Act as a liaison between HRBPs and CoEs, facilitating effective communication and coordination.

HR Operations:

Provide comprehensive HR support to People Leaders, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding them through HR processes.

Assist in the preparation of materials for key processes, such as performance management calibration and talent development.

Manage/monitor 'special approvals' in HCM systems related to headcount approvals and pay changes.

Monitor key employee data to ensure accuracy of employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems for confident reporting.

Provide monthly data/information (reports/insights) to inform decision-making and cost controls, and clearer communication (e.g., Open Position/Headcount management, Pay Changes, periodic communications).

Compliance and Policy Adherence:

Stay current with applicable employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Monitor HR policies and practices to ensure consistency and adherence to company guidelines.

Assist in conducting investigations and managing employee relations issues, providing guidance to HRBPs and managers on appropriate resolution strategies.

Project Management:

Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of HR projects and initiatives related to organizational design, Talent moves, and ad hoc Talent/People related initiatives.

Track project progress, manage timelines, and report on key milestones.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Partner with HR Strategy/Governance & Enterprise Learning to design and deliver micro-learning for the HR Func.

Professional Expectations:

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically.

Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.

Proficiency in HCM systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Job Qualifications:

Education/Training –

4-year degree in Human Resources Management or Organizational Development or related field

SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus

6+ years in Human Resources or related experience

2+ years supervisory and/or management experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Business mindset: able to understand business and financial concepts and effectively recommend and implement talent solutions to address

Capability & culture builder: skilled at identifying and assessing current organizational issues and opportunities

Change management: demonstrated experience in articulating the business case for change and provide guidance on simple and effective ways to address needs

Consulting and Influencing skills: Exceptional communication skills

Ability to quickly build credibility/trust and influence stakeholders to a decision

Experience working in large matrixed organizations; providing scaled solutions to multiple senior level leaders

Proven track record in facilitating decision making through identifying data sources and organizing data to tell a story

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$104,000 - $173,300
