\nDHL Express currently has an opening for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner in our CRC Building in Tempe Arizona. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day human resources support and counsel to the Customer Service, Inside & Retail Sales and Customer Facing IT groups covering most ofthese areas: talent management, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, employee communications, safety and employment documentation and recruiting. This role will ensure consistent application of policies and procedures and serve as a liaison and voice of the internal departments/divisions and/or outside organizations.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nDrives implementation of HR functions including employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and workforce planning within our facilities\nWorks with our Regional HR Director to develop new solutions that support the strategy of our business and region\nActs as an advisor for multiple levels of leadership on strategic and tactical human resources issues\nEnsures consistent application of approved company-wide and specific employee relations policies and practices.\nWorks with managers and employees to investigate and resolve employee relations issues as they arise\nManages staffing for executive, exempt, and nonexempt roles including support and counsel to managers in sourcing, interviewing candidates, offers and onboarding of candidates\nLeads goal setting panels to identify risks and development areas assigned\nPromotes continuous development of leadership through identification and bi-weekly delivery of training with supervisors\nAssess and encourages programs that support active leadership and employee engagement\nSkills & Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Admin, or related field\nMinimum of 3years of professional human resources generalist experience\nStrong investigatory skills\nExcellent knowledge of employment, employee relations, compensation / salary administration, and the laws that govern these areas\nExcellent consultative, influencing, conflict management, analytical, organizational, and diplomacy skills\nProficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)\nSPHR or PHR certification desirable\nMaster’s degree in HR or related field is a plus\nKnowledge of transportation, logistics and/or manufacturing is a plus\n\n\nEmployee Benefits & Incentives
