What You'll Do: The Sr. Manager of HR Systems role reports to the Sr. Director, Total Rewards & HRIS. This role combines process excellence, leadership, systems insights, and passion for elevating operational capabilities. Essential Duties: Defines and prioritizes the HR systems short-and long-term North America HR operations goals Work with PEXNA, IT, finance, HR and Operations partners to ensure consistency and alignment to all HR systems Partner with PEXNA HRIS team to design, develop, and implement appropriate HR systems/modules using best practices. Serve as ‘voice of region’ on shared infrastructure needs to PEXNA HRIS. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline HR processes and workflows through automation and system enhancements. Consultative partnership with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to assess current processes, identify pain points, and implement solutions that drive efficiency and scalability. Develop and maintain documentation of HR processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. Lead and mentor a team of HR operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their growth and development. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the HR operations team. Provide HR operational thought leadership through effective partnership with regional and global HR peers. Lead multiple HR programs & projects of varying scope and complexity. Projects may pertain to new functionality, process improvement, problem resolution, new business model requirements, upgrades, etc., many of which require alignment and coordination with other members of the extended HR team. In coordination with PEXNA, control changes to HR systems to ensure they are controlled, tested and do not have unforeseen ramifications to other areas of the business. Ensure that proper reporting and dashboards are provided to manage the business and for compliance requirements. Oversee the day-to-day administration and optimization of the HR information system (HRIS). Provides functional guidance and knowledge to implement/maintain new and current configurations. Serve as a HR technology partner to key stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Executives Leaders & HR Systems team for overall configuration and governance, keeping them informed on tech and process changes when relevant. Ensure system configuration aligns with HR strategies and described processes & policies Continuously evaluate HRIS processes and implement enhancements to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance user experience. Coordinate team development of training materials, user training sessions, and create comprehensive documentation to support HRIS usage and best practices. Ensure vendor compliance through effective governance and seamless integration of HR technology tools across the ecosystem Oversee system reporting to key stakeholders across the business to ensure data can be used during the decision-making process Align requirements across Panasonic Energy. Qualifications What You'll Bring: Education Basic: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field. Essential Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in HRIS strategy/consulting, preferably in HR Operations or HR Shared Services setting Experience in a continuous improvement environment in a corporate or manufacturing setting either in process improvement, HRIS, HR or shared services role Understanding of shared services model and partnering both as a customer and provider. Working knowledge of end-to-end employee life cycle processes Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Preferred Qualifications Analytical orientation – demonstrated capability for data-driven decisions and data analysis. High systems comfort level. Workday experience preferred but not required. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, both as a leader of teams and as a leader of projects. Clear communication skills- Succinct and vivid for topics that can be complex. Multi-cultural sensitivity and adaptability, both in corporate culture and world culture. Adaptability to adjust as the business grows and evolves. Willingness to learn, teach, and build. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirement for- specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollments. Travel required up to 25% for meetings, training and to meet with business partners.
