Sr. Human Resources Coordinator
**Sr. Human Resources Coordinator** _Work Mode: Onsite_ **Location:**  Onsite - Kohler, WI **Shift:** 1st Shift, but successful individual will be required to come in on the 2nd and 3rd shift occasionally to fulfill business needs. **Opportunity** As a Senior Human Resources Coordinator for our Manufacturing Plants on Kohler Campus, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring operational excellence within our HR function. You will serve as the first point of contact for associates, addressing their inquiries and concerns while championing innovative HR practices. Your expertise in employee engagement and development will be crucial in creating a seamless onboarding experience and facilitating effective communication between associates and management. By collaborating closely with the Human Resources Business Partner, you will contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and drive organizational success. **Specific Responsibilities** + First Point of Contact: Serve as the primary resource for associates' questions and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring timely and accurate responses. + Escalate matters to the appropriate parties including the Global Shared Services, Leave Administration, Payroll and other Centers of Excellence + Initiatives: Collaborate with the other Sr. HR Coordinator to take point on initiatives including various events that occur throughout the year. + Reports: Provide analytics and other reports as assigned, or on an ad hoc basis as required by the Sr. Manager or an HRBP. + Active Presence: Provide an active presence in the Manufacturing Plants and the Distribution Center on Kohler Campus including providing onsite presence in assigned plants and engaging with associates on the floor multiple times each day. + Corrective Actions: Process and manage corrective actions in accordance with company policies, ensuring compliance and effective communication throughout the process. + Innovative New Hire Orientation: Design and implement engaging and informative new hire orientations for front-line manufacturing associates that reflect our company culture and values, facilitating a smooth transition for new employees. + Stay and Exit Interviews: Conduct stay and exit interviews to gather valuable feedback from associates, utilizing insights to identify areas for improvement and enhance employee retention strategies. + General Increases Processing: Assist in processing general increases for union associates, ensuring accurate documentation and communication of changes to affected associates. + Workplace Experience Committees: Assist and/or coordinate Workplace Experience Committees, promoting initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience and foster a collaborative work environment. + Partnership with HR Business Partner: Collaborate with the respective Human Resources Business Partner to support strategic HR initiatives, providing insights and recommendations based on associate feedback and HR metrics. **Skills/Requirements** + High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; Associates or Higher preferred. + Proven experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with Workday is a plus + Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. + Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
