Job Description
Responsible for using HR expertise to provide support and leadership to assigned client groups. Will develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives based on identification of opportunities to improve the business. Will provide the full range of HR support consistent with the Company’s strategic plan and vision in areas including: acting as a change agent, staffing talent, workforce planning, employee relations, employee development, policy interpretation, total rewards and communication. The incumbent will engage in both strategic and tactical human resources functions.
Job Duties Provides creative Human Resources solutions and strategic plans to meet the organization’s business needs by actively engaging with leaders, understanding the business direction, and linking the business strategies to talent implications. Serves as an advisor working closely with leadership team to provide coaching, talent development and organizational support on Human Resources issues. On a regular basis, conducts reviews and analysis of employee data, trends and external market to pro- actively identify opportunities for the business to action and or change. Responds to sensitive and confidential issues and concerns raised by all levels of employees in a confidential, timely, and objective manner. Seeks employee feedback and maintains awareness of general employee issues/concerns and recommends solutions to management to ensure positive morale and a respectful work environment. In partnership with the business, identifies skill gaps, and development opportunities for potential training and learning opportunities, and actively supports the career development of employees within the framework of the Company's Human Resources Planning Process. Effectively interprets and supports application of policies and procedures. Coaches and educates employees at all levels regarding programs and policies and other relevant Human Resources issues. Actively participates in cross-functional human resources related projects and initiatives as assigned. Supports continuous improvement, identifying and recommending changes to policies and processes as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Job QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources business administration or related discipline required. Master’s degree and/or HR Certification preferred. Minimum 7+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience including experience in a supervisory capacity. HR experience should include change management, workforce planning, problem solving, recruitment & staffing, employee relations, training, compensation and career development. Knowledge of CA employment law preferred. Thorough knowledge of the HR body of knowledge including federal state and local Human Resources-related laws regulations trends and issues. Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.): May be required to work outside of standard working hours, and 0-5% travel anticipated.
Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information in written and verbal form. Ability to forge and maintain strategic business partnerships. Ability to interface with all levels of employees in the organization. Ability to analyze data and create and communicate options to meet desired business objectives. Proficiency with computer systems including Word Excel HRIS (preferably SAP HCM). Proven capabilities in leading initiatives and projects

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $121,827.00 - $170,558.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
