Honeywell is hiring a Sr. Industrial Engineer – Full Time role within the Corporate ISC Logistics function. Be part of a global team that applies its expertise and knowledge in driving technical solutions to improve customer service by optimizing delivery lead time, quality, and cost.
You will support technical projects finding innovative, efficient means to improve Distribution business of Honeywell on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
• As an engineer on Corporate Distribution team, you will be responsible for defining and prescribing evolutionary roadmap for Honeywell global distribution centers.
• Design and develop warehouse management systems and solutions tailored to our operational needs. Also, implement system configs, integrations, and customizations to optimize warehouse processes.
• Design, develop and implement scalable models to capture actionable opportunities targeting reduction in OPEX cost and optimizing distribution needs.
• Work closely with IT, business logistics, and operations team to ensure effective system integration and alignment with business goals.
• Use SQL and R/Python to perform data pull and analyze distribution business trends driving key business decisions.
• Analyze and determine the optimal solutions for end-to-end flow of parts – including logistics routing, inventory optimization, capacity planning, storage, cross-docking operations etc.
• You will have full ownership over end-to-end process from identification of opportunities and bottlenecks in the supply chain to delivery of solutions
• Simulate and conduct sensitivity analysis to stress test existing DC operations and future models to identify operational bottlenecks and risks

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Warehouse Engineering: Functional experience with WMS, Product Slotting, Distribution Center MHE, Studying Labor Standards (time studies), Distribution Layouts (AUTO-CAD)
• Knowledgeable in modeling heuristics, best practices, and effective solutions from within the industry or derived from other industries
• MS Office, MS Project, Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems (TMS and WMS), and Network analysis tools (Lmasoft), MS Visio, Statistical Analysis Tools, Simulation experience required
