OVERVIEW:
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Measurement of Store Processes
Design, create, and maintain a catalog of all labor standards in stores including ongoing measurement methods and criteria
Build and measure time and motion studies for discrete store processes and activities focused on the impact to store labor, payroll, and customer experience
Provide feedback to leadership on the priority, timing, and methods to measure DSG store activities
Assist with the creation of process documentation to align with best practices, taking a data-centric approach to how best to complete all processes within stores
Continuous Improvement
Through methods such as A/B testing, process evaluation, and modeling, provide feedback to improve store productivity for both operational and customer-focused processes
Ensure that new technology and ways of working improve our store procedures, taking both anecdotal feedback and time and motion studies into consideration
Collaboration
Support process teams in documenting work methods and execution of engineered labor standards
Drive alignment of labor standards with both process owners and the labor management team
Partner with process teams on change management including documentation, communication, and execution
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred)
3-5 Years Experience in Engineered Labor Standards, Labor Management, SOP Documentation, Process and Continuous Improvement
Possess and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures within a retail store
Documentation of Standard Operating Procedures within a retail environment
Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST)
This role requires significant travel with 50% of time spent traveling to stores throughout the US.
