What you will accomplish

Collaborate cross-functionally to secure Ambarella’s information and operating environment. Perform security reviews of internal and external technologies. Implement security architecture, methods, and controls required to meet security, compliance, and audit requirements. Monitor and analyze network traffic, firewall logs, security alerts, and other information to detect threats. Triage potential incidents, and conduct security incident investigations. Create and improve threat detection rules within SIEM and IDS platforms. Build, deploy, and maintain security tools. Automate security processes using Python or other languages. Develop and maintain security documentation. Compose security communications to employees and other constituents. Conduct tabletop exercises with internal stakeholders and recommend improvements based on lessons learned. Stay up-to-date with current vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures. 

What you will bring

4+ years in a security or related role In-depth knowledge of network-based, system level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methods Experience with a broad range of security technologies including log analysis, endpoint detection, access management, and offensive tools Knowledge network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security Development experience in scripting/programming languages such as Python, bash, JavaScript, or Perl Broad knowledge of network protocols including SMTP, DNS, and HTTPS Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework tactics and techniques Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, and the ability to work independently Experience with major cloud environments and platforms (Azure, Office 365)

The base salary range is $150,000 - $185,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
