Sr. Infrastructure Engineer - Amazon Connect

As a Contact Center Software Infrastructure Engineer, you will design and implement cloud contact center infrastructure and application components for our firm’s journey to AWS Contact Center in the Business Collaboration space.  You will use your hands-on experience building scalable solutions to pave the successful way for our team. You will apply your technical knowledge and problem solving methodologies to build cloud Infrastructure components, applications, and integrations that will serve our client-facing employees.

 

Job responsibilities

Write Terraform modules and sentinel policy sets for IaC. Pave, re-pave and un-pave Cloud Infrastructure for Validations Write code to utilize AWS platform SDKs using one of the modern programming languages. Write Unit-test Cases and assert test coverage. Document and troubleshoot code level issues. Manage the development of Amazon Connect Contact  and integration with Lambda, Kinesis etc. Troubleshoot and Root Cause Analysis

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience BS/BA degree (Computer Sciences or STEM related field) with minimum 7+ years of hands on experience Expertise knowledge in one of the modern programming languages e.g. Python, Java  etc. Well versed with Infrastructure as a Code with Terraform Able to design and implement applications on public cloud (AWS) Hands on Experience in Cloud Contact Center Engineering space with Amazon Connect and Ecosystem services such as IAM, Lex, Lambda, KMS, S3, Kinesis etc.  Hands-on Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Jules, Version Control tools (Git/Bitbuckets) Ability to rapidly build proof-of-concepts and evolve them into large-scale solutions Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency and automation knowledge. Experience in debugging, maintaining ,monitoring and production support in a large environment using tools such as – Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch etc Experience with Container Orchestration and deployment e.g. ECS, EKS, fargate etc.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

AWS certification is a big plus Knowledge of voice (WebRTC), call recording and telephony platforms a big plus Experience with building and supporting Restful APIs.
