The Sr. Insights Analyst is a professional track role whose primary role is to identify and communicate insights for an assigned scope of business through the transformation, visualization, and critical evaluation of data through descriptive, diagnostic, and select predictive methods relying on CFA’s established analytics tooling stack. This role will be expected to provide analytical support for multiple related projects or workstreams across Supply Chain functions, including those with dependencies on other departments. It will require acting as a Subject Matter Expert in a broad suite of standard data, methods, and tools, including complex features. The Sr. Insights Analyst may receive occasional guidance from Analytics Program Leads and Data Scientists to produce insights and make recommendations to senior leaders that inform departmental strategy.

Responsibilities

The person who fills this role will be expected to do the following as a part of their regular work responsibilities:

Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain and industry best practices and understands interaction of domain with the broader business, strong knowledge of Chick-fil-A’s business and restaurant industry, including use and calculation of relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and benchmarksDevelops and recommends insights-informed action to leaders and peers across multiple business areasWorks comfortably with large and complex datasets that span multiple areas of the organization, and understands how to blend and model data effectively; likely serves as business steward for a number of potentially sensitive domain-specific data assetsSolves complex analytics problems requiring synthesis of diverse inputs from internal and external sources through the application of a comprehensive suite of descriptive and diagnostic methods and select predictive methods, with minimal oversightConfidently leverages a broad suite of standard analytics tooling that may require unique or complex integrations across systems, including Tableau, Databricks, and AWS servicesActs as subject matter expert for standard data usage patterns, analytics tooling and analytic methods and procedures while coaching others within the analytics community to do the same Minimum Qualifications 1-3 years of relevant work experienceBachelor's Degree in Statistics, Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Mathematics related fieldsProficient with Tableau or similar data visualization toolsStrong SQL programming skillsFamiliarity with cloud data storage and compute conceptsStrong applied knowledge of basic statistical concepts and data best practicesDemonstrated ability to produce scalable and repeatable analytic processesDemonstrated ability to partner with peers and leaders using strong written and verbal communicationFast learner with a desire to gain new and improve existing analytic skillsComfort and ability to ask questions and seek assistance when necessary Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of relevant work experienceMaster’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics or Mathematics related fieldsGeneral awareness of a breadth of cloud compute concepts and capabilities, particularly Databricks and AWSStrong understanding of data governance principles and proceduresProgramming skills in R or Python Minimum Years of Experience 1 Travel Requirements 10% Required Level of Education Bachelor's Degree Preferred Level of Education Master's Degree Major/Concentration Business, Statistics, Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Mathematics related fields Submit Resume ApplyApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
