Sr. Instructional Designer

This position resides in the Customer Solutions team focused on any customer facing solution from processing claims to technical support.
The Senior Instructional Designer position is responsible for consulting with internal stakeholders to recommend learning solutions, managing and creating instructional design training materials, collaborating with partners and across the enterprise, and designing and developing learning solutions. The position will also manage mid to large-scale instructional design initiatives.

EXPERIENCE:

Exceptional written and oral communication skillsExperience with the creative use of instructional design technologiesExpertise in adult learning and all aspects of instructional design for various formats, including instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and various types of performance supportSuperior organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads and prioritize tasksHiring and managing freelance content producersExperience using Instructional Design software such as Articulate Storyline, etc.Demonstrated expertise leading teams to achieve resultsExperience leading teams through major changes, empowering others to lead, and providing coaching when needed

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experienceHands-on experience with mobile devices, tablets, computers, digital cameras, televisions, home audio, and/or appliances preferredUnderstanding of next generation technologies related to cloud, mobile, social, or big dataExperience with administrative duties including submitting IT tickets and managing data2+ years experience applying instructional design and adult learning methodologies to development and implementation of web-based training and other instructional materials
