Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in instrumentation and design to lead small to mid-level Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) projects. This individual will play a crucial role in building and expanding the Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation department across various industries.
ResponsibilitiesDesign detailed plans using AutoCAD.Specify process instrumentation to meet specific process requirements.Develop loop diagrams and other instrument wiring drawings.Create Electrical Control Schematics.Develop and apply detailed instrument installation plans.Design control panels, including associated field wiring and raceways.Coordinate design activities with clients to ensure seamless project execution.Review and check drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD for designing detailed plans and schematics.Significant experience in instrumentation, including specifying process instrumentation, developing loop diagrams, and creating instrument wiring drawings.Additional Skills & QualificationsExpertise in instrumentation controls and automation.Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.Knowledge in I&C design.Work Environment
The work environment spans various industries and involves actively bidding on numerous new projects. The role will support the new engineering manager by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and contribute to a team with a great culture, playing a key role in growing an entire department.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
