Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Lexington, Kentucky, and focuses on evaluating business systems and auditing processes to ensure compliance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in auditing, accounting functions, and data analysis. Responsibilities: + Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, business continuity and supply chain operations, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and analytical abilities + Ability to manage teams, conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders + Knowledge of various supply chain processes (logistics, manufacturing, distribution, etc.) and understanding of financial statements and their impact on supply chain performance + Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor supply chain audits + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey findings to stakeholders + Proficiency in SAP ERP Materials Management (MM) and Finance (FI) modules, and Data analytics Requirements • Proven experience in internal auditing and accounting functions. • Strong knowledge of audit programs and business systems. • Expertise in data analysis and ability to interpret complex data sets. • Familiarity with supply chain logistics and operational processes. • Proficiency in frameworks such as CobiT for IT system evaluation. • Excellent communication skills to deliver findings and collaborate with teams. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
