Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Internal IT Auditor in the insurance industry, based in Providence, Rhode Island. The role entails a focus on IT audit functions within our team, where the successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of auditing and accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Conduct IT Audit engagements in line with the audit program • Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records and data • Analyze and document audit findings, providing recommendations for improvements • Develop and execute audit plans in accordance with CobiT framework • Leverage auditing tools such as CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx for effective audit operations • Ensure all accounting functions are performed accurately and efficiently • Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders to address audit-related inquiries and concerns. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. • Must have experience working with Audit Program. • Familiarity with CaseWare is required. • Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx is a must. • Knowledge of CobiT is expected. • Must have a good understanding of Accounting Functions. • Experience with Audit Engagements is required. • Ability to effectively communicate Audit Findings is essential. • Must possess strong Auditing skills. • Experience in creating and executing Audit Plans is necessary.
