Superior is currently seeking a Sr. International HR Analyst to join our team in Houston, TX (Downtown) (On-Site 4 days).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responds to questions from assignees and managers (policy, compensation, taxation, etc.). Serves as a primary point of coordination for international assignees. Works with manager to provide cost estimates and develop assignment packages. IHR policy exception management and tracking. Administers expatriate compensation, including G&S, housing, premiums, etc. Management of vendor spend and related stewardship & controls. Development and periodic updates to company guidelines, policies, & procedures. Provide clarity to HR and the business on the interpretation of international HR policies Generates assignment letters. Provides information and letters necessary to process immigration documents. Coordinates with third-party relocation services providers. Collects compensation for monthly and year-end reporting. Responds to information requests for tax audits. Manages international assignment payroll, interface with accounting divisions, and oversee tax equalization settlement payments. Resolving and clarifying expatriate tax administration questions or concerns. Ensures compliance and identifies cost savings through process improvement, policy benchmarking, etc. Maintains global headcount data (expats and local nationals) by service line and geo-market (country / region) Maintains vendor relationships with the expatriate tax-consulting firms, benefits providers, global immigration firms and relocation companies. Coordinates visa process with immigration provider and employee. Prepares country specific employment contracts where required. Manages Corporate Travel Program. Responsible for processing of vendor invoices and tracking spend. Manage and administer Expat Retirement PlanTechnical Skills: Familiar with expatriate tax and immigration challenges with international assignees. Familiar with adhoc reporting in HR information systems. Development and updating of company guidelines, policies, & procedures regarding expat programs.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
5-10 years of experience in oil and gas industry. 1-5 years of experience in oil field services industry in an international HR support role. Must possess a sense of urgency and be responsive to the business. Awareness of international cultures and their potential impact upon the business (i.e. work week differences in the middle east; religious differences in Islamic & other Eastern Hemisphere cultures). Experience with expatriate taxation, administration of IHR programs, and global immigration. Experienced in working cross functionally with Corporate Tax Departments on expat programs. Familiar with vendor metrics and global process & controls. Familiarity with expatriate policy specific to oil field services industry. Familiarity with international medical clearance process and vendors a plus. Experience with intercompany secondment agreements a plus. Experience with International Medical Evacuations a plus.
