Develops, executes and manages IS Hosting programs, projects and portfolio within the defined scope. **What You’ll Work On** + Manages **Infrastructure Services (IS)** Hosting Portfolio of projects, applications and products to ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. + Manage a portfolio of multiple applications including **oversight of CMDB, reporting and compliance.** + Communicates and works with Strategic Business and Executive IT management to establish strategic direction, project goals, business cases and executive reporting. + Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects working with division or senior/executive management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. + Ensures and measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget. + Leads project managers and teams in developing and executing a program plan ensuring that authorized resources are obtained to make certain that all activities are performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders. + Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, Division, Cross Division and Executive management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues. + Coordinate resources to ensure program and business needs are addressed through proactive priority management with business leaders. **Position Accountability / Scope** + Manages IS Hosting Portfolio, Strategic Programs & Projects at the Division or Enterprise level. This consist of approximately 20 programs and projects such as **Technical Currency** for hardware and software. **Cyber Security, Compliance and Data Center / Physical Infrastructure** strategic projects. In addition to maintain the IS Hosting application and file share inventory to ensure compliance with Abbott policies. + Provides strategic decisions that can impact program decisions to ensure program meets its deliverables. + No direct budget but oversees program that are accountable for $20MM to $30MM in Capital and $3MM to $5MM Project Expense. **Required Qualifications** **/Experience** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. **Minimum Experience:** + At least 10 years of experience with a minimum of 9 years managing IT projects focused on Infrastructure. + Needs infrastructure background preferably in **Networking,** WAN, LAN, etc. + Strong experience or understanding of **Hyper converge/ Storage** (SAN) - Windows/Unix/Linux, etc + Experience with **various servers** (Dell/COHESITY/ Pure), **backups, data centers** and tools like Big Panda/Ansible/ Logic Monitor, etc. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Agile development mindset with some experience in Cloud (Azure)technology. + ServiceNow/CMDB knowledge **Supervisory Responsibility** 1 to 2 Direct Staff and 4 to 5 Indirect Staff **MISC:** + This is an **onsite role** located in either IL/MN locations.
