Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jenkins SQL Developer Springboot Microservices Java REST Web API Java Fullstack Java Design Patterns Java 11 and Advanced Java. Experience in Cards & Payments and Asset & Wealth Management domains is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Fullstack technologies. Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins. Design and develop RESTful web services using Java REST Web API. Create and manage database solutions using SQL Developer. Build and deploy microservices using Springboot. Apply Java Design Patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable code. Utilize Java 11 features to enhance application performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards through code reviews. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.Qualifications
Possess strong experience in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management. Demonstrate proficiency in SQL Developer for database management. Have extensive knowledge of Springboot Microservices for building scalable applications. Show expertise in Java REST Web API for developing RESTful services. Exhibit strong skills in Java Fullstack development. Apply Java Design Patterns effectively in software design. Utilize advanced features of Java 11 in application development. Experience in Cards & Payments domain is a plus. Experience in Asset & Wealth Management domain is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to mentor and guide junior developers. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Certifications Required
Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer Certified Jenkins Engineer
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until February 21, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
