Senior Java Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS React JS, SQL Spring Boot, Java , JavaScript and MySQL. This role requires a strong background in the Payer domain. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining software solutions that align with our company’s goals and objectives.

Location: Woonsocket - RI , Hybrid

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Maintain high-quality software solutions using Java.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify areas for improvement.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications

· Implement best practices in software development to ensure high-quality code and efficient performance.

Qualifications:

· Should have 6 to 8 years IT experience.

· Good knowledge on JVM internals and capable of profiling already built services for performance bottlenecks

· Experience in building highly memory safe and secure Java applications which can be run on resource constraint devices

· JPOS/PCI device Experience

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 – $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
