Sr. JS Software Engineer
Overview This position reports to Manager, Application Development and responsible for managing front end/back end development along with other team members. Responsibilities What You’ll Get to Do: Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development. Work closely with other engineers to develop new products Work on extensions of existing products Suggest and implement improvements on current products Plan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support new and existing modules Resolve issues proactively to deliver high quality products What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-level software. Proven understanding of the product development life cycle and business operations. Strong expertise in web based software development using NodeJS/ReactJS Knowledge of shell scripting, Bitbucket, JIRA, and related project management tools. Possible travel within US and international 25% Technical Requirements: Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, jQuery and LESS Development languages: Expertise in server-side programming languages including NodeJS, .Net/.NetCore, Java, Ruby and Python Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Development skills Hands on of algorithm complexities and design patterns and multi-threading In depth understanding of enterprise application development Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL Prepare various code designs and ensure efficient implementation of the same Evaluate all codes and ensure the quality of all project deliverables Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging cross-functional teams. Adaptability to changing priorities and technologies, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
