Sr. Linux Administrator
**Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future** **ManTech** is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Linux System Administrator** to join our team in the **Laurel, Maryland** location. **Responsibilities include but not limited to** : + Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration. + Configure and manage LINUX and Solaris operating systems. + Installs/loads operating systems software. + Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components. + Implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Shall have a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. + A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in technical discipline is required. Five Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. **Preferred Qualifications:** + The ability to troubleshoot higher level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent. + Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired. + Understanding networking components is desired. **Clearance Requirements:** + Must have a current active TS/SCI w/Polygraph **Physical Requirements:** + Bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting, light work up to 20 lbs., reaching, repetitive motions, sedentary work, walking, working with data, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, ability to use MS Office, ability to use a PC, analytical or critical thinking skills, interpersonal & people skills, leadership skills, listening skills, multi-tasking ability, oral & written communication skills, organizational skills. 6.26.BP.SH.AB.AL.23 For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
