The Sr. Continuous Improvement Manager, Logistics reports to the Continuous Improvement Director, Logistics, and oversees CI initiatives for multiple facilities within the PTVE logistics network. This leader develops and implements strategies aligned with the overall logistics vision and is responsible for driving improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance across their region. They will achieve results through effective leadership, staff development, and a relentless focus on exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

 

 

 

 

Technical/Tactical:

· Lead and implement process improvement initiatives that deliver sustainable, long-term benefits across the logistics network.

· Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to optimize existing processes and workflows.

· Continuously monitor operations to ensure efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

· Facilitate lean and CI activities such as Kaizen events, standard work implementation, and root cause analysis.

· Deliver training to team members on lean methodologies, ensuring clarity of responsibilities and project leadership skills.

· Establish and track performance metrics to quantify financial savings and operational improvements.

· Act as a subject matter expert for core logistics modules, including automation and advanced functionality such as interleaving and cross-docking.

· Present weekly and monthly updates to leadership, highlighting site readiness, project progress, and optimization opportunities.

· Ensure facilities are equipped with standard operating procedures to manage technological and process changes effectively.

· Drive PEPS (Pactiv Evergreen Production System) adoption to ensure consistency in operational excellence.

 

Leadership:

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring and developing team members.

· Manage projects from conception through execution, ensuring timely delivery of results.

· Address and resolve escalated challenges, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.

· Exhibit financial acumen by aligning improvement initiatives with cost-saving and operational efficiency targets.

· Strategically align CI efforts with organizational goals, promoting a forward-thinking mindset.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred; equivalent experience considered.

· Experience: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent improvement initiatives.

· Skills:

· Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities.

· Proficient in MS Office, Smartsheet, and other project tracking tools.

· Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

· Travel: Up to 50%.
