The Finance Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations in South America, including Accounting, Consolidation and Reporting, Cost Accounting, Risk Management, Insurance, Access Management, and Fixed Assets. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information for South America entities, compliance with USGAAP and BRGAAP, and provides strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

**Your Impact**
+ Accounting:
+ Oversee the general accounting functions related to the South America entities
+ Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
+ Ensure accurate general accounting provisions for example, discounts, warranties and contingencies
+ Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
+ Cost Accounting:
+ Manage the cost accounting function, ensuring accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
+ Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to management.
+ Manage inventory provisions to ensure proper valuation and control
+ Develop and maintain standard costing models and systems.
+ Consolidation/Reporting:
+ Supervise the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.
+ Ensure compliance with USGAAP and BRGAAP.
+ Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
+ Risk Management and Insurance:
+ Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
+ Oversee insurance policies and claims, including complex cases.
+ Collaborate with logistics, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality teams to handle insurance processes.
+ Access Management and Fixed Assets:
+ Ensure proper management of access controls and fixed assets.
+ Implement and monitor policies for asset management.
+ Leadership and Team Management:
+ Lead, train, develop, and evaluate the performance of direct (7) and indirect (23) team members in Brazil and Argentina.
+ Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
**Your Experience and Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CRC or equivalent certification required.
+ Strong knowledge of USGAAP and BRGAAP.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
+ Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Fluent in English (Spanish desirable)
