Responsibilities

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced accounts payable professional to play a critical role in the success of IGT’s accounting organization. Reporting to the North America Controller, the Sr. Manager of Accounts Payable will oversee and lead the accounts payable team. The Sr. Manager will be “hands on” with direct responsibility for oversight of and participation in daily accounting and operations, month and quarter-end close and reporting, as well as being a key contributor to the management and implementation of projects. The selected candidate must also be an advocate for process improvement, transparency, teamwork, and maintaining high quality work product within the department. The selected candidate will be self-motivated, demonstrate the ability to lead a team, and will be instrumental in the growth and expansion of the department. This position will interact with various levels of management, must deliver exceptional customer service and build successful relationships interacting cross-functionally, managing projects, and other duties as assigned.

 

Responsibilities:
The Sr Manager of Accounts Payable will be a leader in managing North America accounts payable operations, developing and leading a team, and will provide support and guidance to business partners. Other responsibilities will include:

Directly manage a staff of accounting professionals, including developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function Ensure compliance with and adherence to company policies and proper execution of internal controls Oversee and review day-to-day transactional activities, month-end close, reconciliations, as well as key control activities identified for matters within the team’s scope, as applicable Identify ways to streamline and continuously improve processes and internal controls Ad hoc reporting and projects as needed, supporting the North America Controller Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet business needs
  Qualifications Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional units and levels within the organization Strong organizational skills enabling simultaneous management of multiple projects Self-motivated, results-oriented with ability to take initiative in a diverse organization Comfortable in a fast-paced environment  Sound judgement and business acumen Strong interpersonal skills to manage a team of professionals


Preferred Education & Experience:

10+ years of experience in accounting, including within accounts payable 5+ years management experience SAP experience preferred but not required  Blackline experience preferred but not required Bachelor’s degree  Keys to Success

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
