You will be responsible for successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects. As a Senior Development Manager, you will join CIBC’s Direct Financial services team within the Capital Markets Technology Division, where you will lead a high performing team of development specialists delivering innovative products and services. This role will manage a team of developers and DevOps engineers utilizing SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure appropriate delivery of products and services, ensuring adherence to standards, through test driven development and code reviews. ​ _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Work with clients and internal partners to determine, negotiate and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions. + **People Leadership –** Lead and coach a high performing team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems. + **Relationship Management –** Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement application program. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements. **Who You Are** + **You can demonstrate experience:** as a hands-on Senior Development Manager, leading a team building Innovative customer facing solutions, utilizing cutting edge technologies. Ideally, you are adept at Design Solutioning and have proven experience with IBM BAMOE, Springboot and Micro Services. + **It’s an asset if** you have strong knowledge of UX, and Digital. + **You have a degree/diploma in** Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field. + **You are a bold and authentic leader.** You're passionate about developing and coaching to bring out the best in people.
