Senior Manager, Commercial Effectiveness – Partnering and Performance – Americas & Digital Technologies Site Locations: Newark, NJ- US, Chicago, IL - US, Franklin, TN - US, São Paulo, São Paulo - Brazil, or El Marques, Querétaro - Mexico

This role is responsible for performance managing the Americas & Digital Technologies MGS Commercial team to deliver success to, and delight MGS Commercial’s customers. The role is accountable for recommending multi-year targets across key measures (including savings, cash & NPS); tracking delivery against these targets; leading regular customer engagements & performance reviews; highlighting successes and escalating risks & opportunities.

They are responsible for running annual operating plans in line with the segment’s expectations as well as drive a multi-year plan. They embed a performance culture mindset within MGS Commercial and the business to help unlock value for the business. This role plays a crucial part in driving MGS Commercial’s success by defining the Business partnering strategy and engagement model to enable strategic collaboration and defining of priorities between the segments and MGS Commercial to maximize value on all sides. This role interfaces with senior levels of the organization within MGS Commercial and the segments to manage performance, drive collaboration, and enhance the business partnership.

The expectation is that the role will continue to evolve, with continued greater focus on both MGS Commercial customers and vendor engagement.  

 What will be your key responsibilities?Oversee the regional MGS Commercial Performance program across all areas of Commercial, implementing a multi-year savings pipeline to ensure delivery of results year over yearDevelop & lead the regional segment engagement plan & governance to drive strategic collaboration and accelerate performance between MGS Commercial and the segmentsProvide a connection point between the MGS Commercial and regional segment leadership teams to provide visibility of performance, identify opportunities & risks, and escalate issues where appropriateRole model brilliant business partnering with our segment stakeholders to maximize value of service to our customers and simplify the user experiencePartner as required to scale and mature the MGS Commercial Voice of the Customer activities. Provide insights back to relationship managers and MGS Commercial leadership. Monitor improvement plans,Amplify the voice of MGS Commercial customers within MGS Commercial, and amplify the success of MGS Commercial within our customersDrive a performance-based mindset through KPIs to successfully embed a performance culture with MGS Commercial and the businessContribute strongly to the development, communication, and delivery of the agreed business objectives and key performance indicatorsChampion “Mindsets and Behaviors” activities across the organization.Support MGS Commercial long term strategy execution as required.Manages one direct report – Manager, Strategy & Performance – Americas & Digital Technologies

What are we looking for?Bachelor’s Degree, or 5-7 years of equivalent experienceExtensive experience in Procurement related fields, experience in Indirects is an advantageHistory of building high quality internal and external relationships and interaction with management at all levelsWorking in complex internal organization setting – partnering and influencing across functions and markets regionally and globallyStrong communication and influencing skillsDemonstrable leadership ability of planning, managing and delivering complex projects at a cross-functional or enterprise-wide levelStrong change management credentials, ability to develop a compelling vision & execute the strategy with excellenceStrong business acumen, analytical & quantitative skillsAbility to drive for results in the pursuit of challenging stretch goalsProven ability to make sound decisions in complex and/or ambiguous business environments

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.  Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
