Team Management:

Ensure that internal tools are maintained properly by your team

Organize the onboarding process of new colleagues and ensure that onboarding process is followed and executed properly 

Ensure proper capacity planning in coordination with the people managers of the entire sustainability consulting team and people manager of other Sphera teams involved in sustainability consulting projects 

Align with your manager on issues related to personnel development, capacity planning and project delivery 

Cooperate and align with senior experts to maintain and develop thought leadership in your sector/domain/team 

Coach team members, provide regular feedback and act as mentor. Be a thoughtful leader. Lead by example according to company values. 

 

Consulting:

Ensure the delivery of consulting projects in product and/or corporate sustainability, such as LCA, EPD, strategy projects (incl. research, analyses, reports, presentations, etc.). Delegate project tasks. 

Ensure the delivery of consulting projects in the agreed time, duration, scope, quality and budget. Deliver profitable projects. 

Ensure to achieve the annual sustainability consulting targets in terms of revenue, bookings, and utilization 

Ensure a collaborative atmosphere in the consulting team and provide regular feedback to your colleagues 

Be in regular exchange with other consulting teams and regions to increase collaboration and efficiency 

Share appropriate domain or sector knowledge within your consulting team and the consulting organization 

Coordinate monthly capacity scheduling and prioritize projects / tasks with your team members 

Submit and approve timesheets on a weekly basis.

Plan/Adapt your vacation planning once a month. Monitor the project status of all projects in your team regularly (e.g. resource schedule, budget, profitability, etc.), and coordinate monthly project planning with your team. 

Ensure Sphera's quality management processes are applied. 

Appropriately represent Sphera in client contact with seniority.

Engage with customers, typically with more senior staff. Build a trust relationship with clients, identify client challenges and propose solutions. 

Manage any customer satisfaction issue according to Sphera's QA process.

Identify new sales opportunities with existing and/or new clients. Support colleagues from business development in drafting proposals and Statements of work (SOW).

Contribute to marketing activities and support the Go-to-Market strategy developments in your domain/sector. Inform marketing about any conference, event, etc. attendance.

Demonstrate thought leadership in the Agriculture/Renewable Materials/Consumer Goods industry through presentations, blogs, publications of studies, whitepapers, webinars etc. on our homepage, at conferences, and journals or by posting e.g. on LinkedIn, etc.
