Sr. Manager, Corporate Security

The KBR Sr. Security Manager is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the organization’s security policies and supports the implementation of the respective business units. This position will provide support to business unit leadership in assessing and managing the security situations related to existing and upcoming projects scope; be responsible for providing security coordination for members of the organization’s management teams in response to incidents, emergencies, and crises on behalf of the organization.

Develops policies and procedures that comply with government guidelines and standards. Develop policies and procedures that comply with organization, client and government guidelines and standards. Conducts investigations to protect organizational assets. Responds to global crisis contingency events to include bomb threats, sabotage, and terrorism. Recommend hiring of outside security contractors, as necessary. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and is responsible for global processes and procedures.

This position assists our senior leaders (president and senior vice president’s) to access employee health and safety when deployed and before we send employees into high-risk locations and programs/projects. Includes developing and coordinating emergency response plans, evacuation plans, and conducting regular drills and training sessions to prepare employees for emergency situations. Stay updated on the latest security practices, techniques and technologies and recommend upgrades as needed. Manage and maintain security technology systems, including visitor management, surveillance, access control, and alarm systems. Collaborate on policy development by working closely with the Business Units, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Chief Security Officer, Investigators, and the Director of Industrial Security. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions. Monitor geopolitical and intelligence reports; Identify security risks and coordinate mitigating protection for executive and employee travel to hazardous locations. Oversee and manage armed and unarmed guard force contractors. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 12+ years of experience, 3+ of which should be in management. Global travel to austere environments will be required.

Experience & Skills

· Must be a US citizen.

· Undergraduate relevant degree preferred

· Military, and/or law enforcement experience preferred

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

· Must currently hold an Active or Inactive DoD Secret Clearance

· This position requires experience in conducting Physical Security Surveys and Security Assessments to include threat and vulnerability in low and high-risk locations using industry methodology

· This position requires occasional (30%) domestic/international travel to remote and austere locations.

· Proven ability to work and operate in high-risk environments with international projects or governments.

· Understands security intelligence analysis and political, contextual, and ethical issues in assigned areas.

· Effective and clear communicator, ability to collaborate across teams and geographies and initiates and skilled in interdisciplinary problem solving.

· Effective and diverse investigative skills to conduct inquiries and investigations.

· Previous experience interacting with local, state, national and international government law enforcement agencies to implement security strategies and procedures relating to Safety & Security matters.
