Overall Job Summary
As a key leader of the Digital Merchandising and Operations team, this role will lead and execute growth initiatives for our eCommerce platform, driving both revenue and user engagement. This role will work with senior leadership from Digital, Marketing etc. to set the traffic and conversion plan and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute and deliver on our growth objectives. In partnership with stakeholders across Digital business leadership, as well as our Product, Data, and Design teams, this position will co-develop the roadmap to support the business needs, build best in class tools to deliver on TSC’s digital ambitions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Develop and execute successful growth strategies to drive revenue and profitability for the eCommerce platform Partner and manage growth marketing initiatives including product-led growth, user acquisition, retention, and conversion optimization. Help deliver Digital P&L through the creation, coordination, connection of the traffic, conversion and merchandising plans Oversee the weekly, monthly, quarterly performance and P&L of the eCommerce site, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Collaborate with product management, marketing, and data teams to align growth strategies with overall business goals. Foster a culture of innovation, testing, and learning to continuously improve growth performance. Utilize data tools and analytics to track performance, derive insights, and make data-informed decisions. Drive the implementation of platform, data, and infrastructure projects to support growth initiatives. Communicate vision, strategies, and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders. Ensure a customer-centric approach, deeply understanding customer needs and challenges.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience leading growth initiatives, with a focus on eCommerce or digital marketing. Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies, driving revenue for an eCommerce platform. 10+ years of experience in product management or marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams and direct reports.
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Information Systems, Advanced Analytics, or equivalent experience. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications:
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive outcomes autonomously. Experience in a fast-paced technology and innovation environment preferred. Strong technical depth with experience in data and infrastructure projects. Excellent analytical and strategic decision-making skills. Proficiency with data tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SQL etc. Experience in ecommerce retail Exceptional written and oral communication skills to articulate complex strategies and progress clearly. Deep empathy for customers and a commitment to addressing their challenges. Genuine interest in the mission of our company and contributing to a larger purpose.
