You will lead a small-but-mighty team and work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure all written content reflects the brand’s identity, resonates with consumers, and drives engagement. From product descriptions to email campaigns to visual merchandizing, you’ll ensure that every word creates a connection with our consumer and contributes to the larger Tatcha world. The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller with a passion for beauty and a strong background in editorial leadership. **Key Responsibilities** + **Brand Voice:** Serve as the steward of our brand voice –ensuring it stays true to our roots but is also relevant for today’s culture and consumer + **Content development:** Lead the development of editorial content strategies that align with the brand’s vision, voice, and goals. Work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Social Media teams to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. Oversee and contribute to the development of all copy across the brand including product concepts and names, website content, packaging, email marketing, visual merchandizing, paid media, and PR + **Team Management:** Manage and mentor the copywriting team providing direction and professional development to foster creativity and productivity + **Collaborations & Partnerships:** Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies to create copy that is relevant, engaging, and authentic and conveys the brand message + **Trend Monitoring:** Stay ahead of industry trends, beauty innovations, and cultural shifts to keep the brand’s editorial voice fresh and relevant + **Analytics & Optimization:** Analyze copy performance metrics to continuously refine and improve content strategies, ensuring increased engagement, brand awareness, and customer loyalty _Note: This job description is not exhaustive and may be amended to include other duties as assigned by the management team._ **Qualifications** + 8+ years of experience in editorial or content management, preferably within the beauty industry + Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field + Proven experience in leading a team + Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail and accuracy + Strong understanding of beauty trends, products, and consumer preferences + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines + Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments + A passion for beauty and a deep understanding of the market and audience **The Details** The expected base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan based on personal performance and company results.
