Our Senior Engineering Managers lead a team of developers, build the strategy and drive the execution of a technical roadmap to deliver platform capabilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.
Position Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of software developers to deliver a scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant payments platform.Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle to deliver full stack solutions that help meet payment processing needs for the company.Build a culture of high performance, psychological safety and continuous improvement, by actively managing goals and team performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers and stakeholders to ensure delivery of end-to-end solutions that address business needs.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional developmentQualifications
Experience leading engineering teams on mission critical systems and leading culture and technology transformation.Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, containerization).Fluency and specialization with at least one modern language such as Go or Java, and experience with open source software.Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.Experience with Finance, Billing and Payment platforms preferred.Experience
10+ years of software development experience with a significant portion on designing, building, and operating large-scale, mission-critical distributed systems.Proven experience (5+ years) managing engineering teams in an Agile environment.Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience#LI-GB1
Annual Salary
$120,000.00 - $300,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
