Job Description:  Facilities Sr. Manager is responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of facility management services across multiple sites within a designated region. This role involves ensuring that all facilities are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards while aligning with the organization's goals.  Sr. Manager will lead a team of facilities site leads, oversee real estate, maintenance, space management, capital projects, and coordinate with vendors and contractors to maintain optimal facility conditions.

Essential Functions:

Provide leadership for the Space Systems and Mission Networks Sector Real Estate Facilities portfolio in terms of both Tactical and Strategic Management as one accountable leader to coordinate w/ other responsible parties across SAS and CHQ Shared Services (Business stakeholders, Facilities, Space Planning and GRE).Lead and mentor site leads, providing direction on daily operations, preventive maintenance, and long-term planning in alignment with the organization's growth and operational goals.Develop and manage regional facilities budgets to ensure cost effective use of resources.Oversee the operations and maintenance of facilities across multiple locations within the region, ensuring each site is fully functional and adheres to safety and compliance standards.Oversee the effective utilization of space within facilities, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and growth strategies.Coordinate large-scale repairs, upgrades, and renovations, working closely with contractors and external vendors.Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements across all sites, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems.Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring preparedness for incidents like power outages, water main breaks, or natural disasters.Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including property management firms, regulatory agencies, and local authorities.Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and construction projects.Partner with Global Real Estate (GRE) in real estate optimization, and perform cost study analyses to determine the most optimal path forward.  To include lease versus purchase analyses, and future cross segment facility plans. Implement sustainable and energy-efficient initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact.Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure operational efficiency and improve performance.Ensure strong communication between site leads, regional and corporate leadership.Assist and support the team with identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities by applying e3 principles and tools. Conduct external industry benchmarking, evaluate and implement solutions through active change management.Work effectively with shared services executives and other leaders in the business units to drive business innovation and continuous improvement processes across SAS.Ability to travel and work effectively in a matrix organization

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience in Engineering or related field or Graduate Degree with 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience managing site managers or facilities teams across multiple locations.Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and compliance standards.Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee complex renovation or construction projects.Budget management and financial reporting experience.Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including executive leadership, site staff, contractors, and vendors.Ability to travel frequently within the region to conduct site visits and inspections.Certifications in facilities management such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facilities Management Professional), or LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $103,000- $191,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
