Overview

McKesson Corporation is a leader in healthcare supply chain management, committed to delivering excellence and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager in Indirect Procurement to lead our team of Category Specialists focused on Facility Products and Services. This role is integral to supporting the US Oncology Network Practices by driving strategic initiatives, optimizing procurement processes, and contributing to our success in delivering quality cancer care.

Job Summary
The Sr. Manager, Indirect Procurement will oversee the day-to-day operations of Category Specialists dedicated to Facility Products and Services for the US Oncology Network. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong contract knowledge, advanced Excel skills, robust analytical abilities, and expertise in project management and presentation skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement solutions to support oncology practices.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management

Lead and mentor a team of Category Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Develop team capabilities through training and professional development.

Procurement Strategy

Develop and implement procurement strategies for Facility Products and Services to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency for the US Oncology Network.Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for strategic sourcing.

Contract Management

Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage performance against agreed KPIs.

Analytical and Excel Skills

Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze procurement data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive decision-making.Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate procurement performance and strategy to stakeholders.

Project Management

Lead procurement projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Presentation Skills

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to senior management and stakeholders.Communicate complex procurement concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Critical Skills

Minimum of 9+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect categories.Minimum of 1+ year(s) of supervisory and/or management experience.Proven experience in contract management and negotiation.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent project management abilities.Exceptional presentation and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of procurement software and tools is a plus.

Salary: 103,200.00 - 137,600.00 - 172,000.00 USD Annual with 20% MIP
